Beloved husband, father, gradfather, great grandfather, uncle and brother, Danny Mack Farris, a faithful Christian, entered into eternal life with the lord on October 4th, 2011. He was a life long resident of Sparks, graduating from Saprks High School in 1965. In his younger years he had a passion for  fast cars, motorcycles, and rodeo. He is survived by his loving wife; Sandra Farris, brother; Michael Iratcabal, children; Lisa Gough,(Theron), Andre Allec,(Debra), Rod Allec,(Maralei), Curtis Allec, (Paula),  Shawn Farris, and Stacy Sherfey, (Neil),  14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny and Sandy were longtime supporters and members of Hot August Nights.  He had a strong passion for spending time with his family and  especially enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was a butcher by trade dating back to the family business of meat packing houses, and finished out his career at Winco Foods where he worked for 15 years in the meat department.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at 12 noon.
