Phyllis Ivalee Harker, 69, passed away in Reno on August 24, 2010. She was born in Reno, NV on November 17, 1940 to Lester Eldren Forbes and Iva Lee (Clark) Forbes. Phyllis was life long resident in Reno except for two years which the family spent in Las Vegas, NV were she attended Gorman High School. Phyllis graduated from Reno High School and received her Associates Degree from Community College. Phyllis worked for Renown Hospital for 26 years. She loved to read books and had a passion for crocheting. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother Iva Lee, her sons Mark and Michael, her daughter Lisa, her brother James Timothy Forbes and one grandchild.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to O’Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home.
