Vicki Rae Wroblewski went to be with the Lord on February 10th 2012 at her home in Fallon, Nevada. Vicki was born in Montebello, California on June 4th 1953 to Bill and Dorothy Glover. Vicki was the second oldest of five children and one of four girls. When Vicki was five years old, her family moved to La Puente, California where she attended elementary, junior high and high school. While living in La Puente, she met a five year old boy who lived across the street named Tony Fratusco. In 1971, Vicki graduated from high school and married Tony. A short time later Vicki gave birth to her son, Tom, in Monterey, California on Fort Ord Army Base where they lived. After Tony left the Army, Vicki gave birth to her second son, Michael. The family eventually settled in Pamona, California. In 1980, Tony was killed by a drunk driver on his way to work. Vicki was twenty seven years old and left to raise an eight year old and four year old by herself. At twenty seven, Vicki had never worked and did not even have a driver’s license. Vicki had the courage to start a new life eventually moving her family to Fallon, Nevada to be close to her sister Sherry. Vicki was able to start her first job at the local bank and obtain her first driver’s license. Vicki also secured a home for her family. While living in Fallon, her sister Sherry introduced Vicki to her future, loving husband Richard Wroblewski. Rick and Vicki were married on November, 15th 1980 in Fallon, Nevada where they blended their children, Tom, Rick and Mike into one beautiful family. The family moved to Boise, Idaho and eventually she give birth to her son Jeremy. Vicki worked numerous jobs during her life in Boise, but always knew her passion was her family. Vicki enjoyed spending countless hours with her grandchildren, who brought her endless amounts of joy. In 2008, Rick and Vicki moved back to Fallon, Nevada where their love story started. During this time, Vicki’s health deteriorated, but her love for family always seemed to keep her going. While in Fallon, Rick and Vicki were able to travel to Lake Tahoe and Disneyland with family and spend time with their beautiful grand children. Vicki’s lung disease grew worse during this time. Rick and Vicki eventually moved into a new home in Fallon that reminded her of the home she raised her children in. Unfortunately, the love for her family and new home were not enough to keep her body from shutting down. On February 10th 2012 Our Lord and Savior walked with Vicki into Heaven where she is watching over her family. Vicki is preceded in death by her Father Bill Glover and first husband Tony Fratusco. Vicki is survived by her Husband, Richard Wroblewski, sons Tom Fratusco (Annie), Rick Wroblewski, Michael Fratusco (Kari), Jeremy Wroblewski (Amanda), her eight grand kids BreeAnna, Steven, Daniel, Jessica, Payton, Reagen, Reese and Taylor, mother, Dorothy Glover; sisters Luanna, Sherry (Mitch), Linda (Jeff) and brother Steve (Angie). Vicki is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Vicki chose to be cremated therefore a celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on February 20th at 11 am at Ustick Baptist Church at 14301 McMillan Rd in Boise, ID.
