Dorothy Mae Clevenger,86, passed away peacefully after a long illness with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Banner Hospital in Fallon. Dorothy was born May 12, 1925 in Lovelock, NV. to Tom and Sadie Austin. She attended schools in Fallon and Stewart Indian school. Dorothy had lived in Fallon since 1998.She was known as the family caretaker, caring for and raising many children beside her own. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She loved cooking for them, she was a great seamstress, making many of their clothes. Dorothy was an avid wrestling fan,  loved to read in her spare time.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters,Ramona Hodges of Utah; Kathleen Reysen of Reno; Donna Clevenger; Sonja Austin ; brother, Daniel Austin; sister, Leona Garcia all of Fallon; grandchildren,Erin Clevenger; Shonna Clevenger; Heather Sears; Samantha Conway; Angelica Caldera; Lee Oakley III; numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Stillwater Gymnasium at 11:00 A M with a dinner to follow services.
