James Craige Richards of Fallon, Nevada passed away December 9, 2011.  Jim was born November 30, 1937 in Inglewood, California to Dr’s Jesse and Ernestine Richards.  He attended Inglewood Elementary and Lynwood Academy and graduated from La Sierra College in 1962 with a BS in physics.  Jim worked as a civil servant for the Department of Defense in their fleet analysis center.  Throughout his career he was stationed in Puerto Rico, Norco, CA and Fallon, NV.  He was an avid sportsman and history buff.  He loved fishing, waterskiing, sailing, bowling and target shooting.  He was a motorcycle racer, racing competitively in TT Scrambles in his early years and later in enduro racing.   Jim was a member of the Tuesday Nite Best Bowling League in Fallon and bowled a 300 in 1995.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jo, Fallon, NV; 3 children, Kathe (Jim) Lance, Pacific Palisades, CA.; Susan Parr, Bend, OR.;and William (Shannon Neale M.D.) Richards M.D., Edina, MN.; 2 step sons, Tim Emery, Ocala, FL. and Tom Emery, Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren, Elliot; William; Brian and Anna Lisa Lance; Kristen; Scott; Doug and Josh Parr; Rachel; Natalie and Noah Richards; 3 siblings, Janet (Bob) Mayo, Missouri City, TX.; John (Penny) Richards, Highland, CA.  and Joan Page, Oracle, AZ.; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 19, 2011, 11:00 am at The GardensChapel Fallon, Nevada,  and Sunday, January 22, 2012, 11:00 am at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA.
