Ronald A. Brown passed away in his sleep on Friday, December 2,2011. Born November 1, 1925 to Clarence and Grace Brown in Nooksack, Washington, he was the youngest of 5 brothers and 2 sisters, all who have preceded him in death.
Ron was in the US Marine Corp, serving his country for over two years during WWII. He married his bride, Ailene Booton in 1946 and together they had two sons, Dennis (Beverly) who reside in Alabama; Marty, who preceded Ron in death in 2003; and daughter-in-law Sheryll of Reno; grandchildren, Shannon of Alabama; Lauren and Derek both of Reno and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand-nephews, all who will miss him dearly.
Ron worked as a civil service fireman since 1945. The family moved to Fallon in 1956 and Ron became assistant Fire Chief at NAS Fallon, retiring in 1976 as Fire Chief. Ron was a Free Mason and also a Shriner.

Masonic services to be held at The Gardens Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 A M. Burial to follow at The Gardens Cemetery with Military Honors.
