Earl was born in Lovell, Wyoming to Byorn Kenneth Douglas and Mary Eva Jensen.  He is survived by sisters, Jean Fahrenbach (Eckard), Kay Miller, Donna Banks (Steve), Susan Leatherbury (Bill), and Melissa Teemsma (Don) and brothers, John Douglas and Wayne Douglas (Mary Anne).  Earl married Cathy Adam on October 6, 1973 and they later divorced.  Together they had three children, Adam Douglas, Jennifer Roper (Rob), and Matthew Douglas.  Earl is also survived by 1 granddaughter and 4 grandsons.  He served in the U.S. Marines and the Nevada Air Guard and was a veteran of Desert Storm.  He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather.  He had a generous heart and will be missed by a large extended family and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City, NV.  Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
